Study Group Readings:

The Land of Canaan

This study of the inheritances of the 12 tribes of Israel focuses on the heavenly things within the Holy Land. “By the ‘land of Canaan’ was represented the kingdom of the Lord; its celestial by ‘Zion,’ and its spiritual by ‘Jerusalem,’ where was the dwelling place of Jehovah or the Lord. The country ‘round about,’ even to the borders, represented the celestial and spiritual things flowing forth in their order and derived therefrom.” (AC 2973)

We hope these readings will help you see how the very path to heaven is within the spiritual meaning of the Land of Canaan.

The Sunday church service at the beginning of each week will be on the same topic as the Study group for the week. After Sunday you should be able to find a recording of the service under “Worship Services”, and a link will be placed below with the other information about that week.
