Dear Neighbor,
Perhaps you have seen some of the recent pictures from the Webb Space Telescope. Here is one of them depicting thousands of galaxies never seen before.1
Scripture has a lot to say about how these galaxies, and in fact the entire universe, came into existence. Here are some of the verses that discuss creation:
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1)
“Thus says Jehovah, thy Redeemer, and thy Former from the belly: I am Jehovah, who makes all things; who stretches out the heavens alone; who spreads out the earth from Myself.” (Isaiah 44:24)
“I have made the earth, and have created man upon her; I, with My hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their army I have commanded.” (Isaiah 45:12)
“Thou [God] hast created all things, and by Thy will they are, and were created.” (Revelation 4:11)
