West End Rejuvenation
Most of these pictures were used in the slideshow at the Feast of Charity presentation on September 23, 2022 where we presented ideas for two possible handicap accessible entrance locations with the hope of getting feedback on the Society's preference.
Please remember you will be voting for a design direction to pursue, not an absolute plan.

Corner entrance ideas
Corner Plan Pros
- People enter into existing coat area together
- Entry area naturally lit with windows
- Leaves kitchen intact
- Will have an overhang to protect from weather (not designed yet)
- Might allow for more parking spaces
Corner Plan Cons
- Drop-off will not be circular
- Untraditional to have an opening in the corner of the building
Center entrance ideas
Center Plan Pros
- Entrance to church centers on the Word
- Entrance is already on grade
- Opportunity to differentiate from school and church
Center Plan Cons
- Kitchen will need to lose 2 -3 feet of width
- Will add a door which will interrupt the current society room west wall
Both plans
Both plans will have:
- Improved access to the building with weather protection
- Easier parking drop-off
- Closer parking spaces
- Improved bathrooms
- Updated and reconfigured kitchen
- Reconfigured walls and layout
- Added space to entering the building
