“All authority is given to Me in heaven and on earth... And behold, I am with you always, even to the consummation of the age.” - Matthew 28:18, 20

Day 11: March 6

Readings:

Have you not read this Scripture: The stone which the builders rejected, this has become the head of the corner; this was the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes? And they sought to take hold of Him, and they feared the crowd, for they knew that He had said the parable to them; and leaving Him, they went away. (Mark 12:10-12)

He is despised and forsaken of men; a Man of pains, and knowing sickness; and we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we thought nothing of Him. Surely our sicknesses He has carried; and our pains, He has borne the burden of them; and we reckoned Him plagued, smitten of God, and afflicted. (Isaiah 53:3-4)

The Lord glorified His Human by combats against the hells and at the same time by continual victories over them. The last combat and victory was on the cross; wherefore He then fully glorified Himself. (Arcana Coelestia 10655:2)

Reflection:

The Lord bearing our sins means that Jesus faced and defeated every sin in His human heredity (Apocalypse Revealed 472:2). Because of this our sins are not taken away, but they are defeated, and if we ask the Lord for the power to resist them, He will give us His strength to resist and fight against those hells.
